The Permanent Delegation of Italy to the International Organisations in Paris and the Consulate General of Italy in Paris invite you to attend the lecture – in English – entitled “Dark Matter”, given by Professor Elena Aprile, Professor of Physics at Columbia University in New York.
Dark Matter is an unknown form of matter that is thought to dominate the Universe. Professor Elena Aprile, one of Italy’s leading scientists on the international scene, is heading an international collaboration of 180 scientists from 24 different nations who are trying to explain its nature with an experiment located under the Gran Sasso mountain, in Italy.
The presentation will be hosted at the Consulate General of Italy, at 5 boulevard Emile Augier – 75016 Paris – on Friday 29 September 2023, starting at 15:00.
