OECD: External Relations Committee retreat hosted by Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa

Italy hosted, at the prestigious Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, the retreat of the OECD delegates to the External Relations Committee. The event provided an opportunity for an in-depth study on strategies to strengthen cooperation with non-member countries of the Organization, especially in Africa and South East Asia.Thanks to the generosity and support of the rector Sabina Nuti and the contribution of ideas from Professors Strazzari, Fasoli and Di Minin, the participants were able to discuss the main challenges for multilateral cooperation and the added value of the OECD. The event took place with the full involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, represented by the Cons Amb. Martin Lorenzini, Head of the First Office of the Directorate General for Globalization and Global Issues.
