The stamp celebrating the 60th anniversary of the OECD is being issued today: an initiative promoted by the Italian Permanent Representation together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Poste Italiane to underline the Organization’s contribution of the international community.
Stamps are small messages rich of meanings and many years of history are metaphorically summarized in this OECD’s commemorative issue. The assembly of 19 nations that faced the epic of post-war reconstruction has grown today: Ministers from 38 countries that have built a solid community of shared values will attend today the Meeting of the OECD Council. Representing our country there will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio.
It will be a special moment of reflection on global challenges, to start an inclusive and environmentally friendly post-pandemic recovery, which will lead the leaders who will gather in Paris to celebrate 60 years of progress together.
