Annual meeting of the OECD MENA Working Group

On the 22th June the annual meeting of the OECD MENA Working Group on the Rule of Law and Regulatory Policy takes place to discuss the “Impact of Covid-19 on the Rule of Law: Rule-making and Access to Justice in times of crisis’’. The working group meeting is organized in the framework of the OECD MENA Governance Programme, also thank to the OECD MENA Center hosted in Italy with the support of the National School of Public Administration(SNA).

The working group session aims at enhancing the exchange of best practices, implemented by different countries, in order to ensure an effective response to the COVID 19 crisis. The Permanent Representative of Italy to the International Organizations, Amb. Antonio Bernardini, as co-chair of the OECD MENA Governance Programme, and the Executive Director of the School, Prof. Maurizio Mensi, take part to the event to present the Italian experience of rule of law in response to the health emergency.

The OECD MENA Governance Programme Center, supported by SNA and OECD in Caserta, in the framework of the new Memorandum of Understanding in force since January 2020 has the role of promoting the best practices of good governance, enhancing capacity building and strengthening the public administration in the region of the Middle East and North Africa.
