Guardia di Finanza Commander General, General Giuseppe Zafarana, held an institutional visit in Paris during which he met OECD Secretary General Angél Gurria.
The Guardia di Finanza’s relationship with the OECD is excellent and the fact that Gen. Zafarana has chosen to visit SG Gurria on his first visit abroad since his appointment, underline this fact. SG Gurria and Gen. Zafarana take stock of the situation about the complex issues dealt with by the OECD, to which Guardia di Finanza is actively contributing, to see possible ways in which this partnership can be further developed – both at operational, academic and scientific level – to support, strengthen and reinforce the dissemination of best practices to fight economic and financial crime in an international context.
