7th OECD Parliamentary Days

Paris, 14-15 February 2019. Italy took part in the 7th edition of the Parliamentary Days, with the Senators Mr. Cristiano Anastasi, Mr. Massimo Ferro and Mr. Adriano Paroli as well as the Deputies Mr. Matteo Luigi Bianchi, Mr. Edmondo Cirielli, Mr. Paolo Formentini, Mr. Luca Frusone, and Mr. Luca Lotti. The 7th edition of the Parliamentary Days, the annual flagship event of the OECD’s Global Parliamentary Network, gathered about 165 members of national Parliaments and 45 parliamentary officials from 37 countries, members and partners of the OECD. A number of topics were debated, including the role of housing policies, the artificial intelligence, the impact of digitalization for fiscal policies, the future of global energy markets, free and fair elections, the biodiversity loss, and the future of work. Furthermore, the Italian delegation had bilateral meetings with OECD experts in order to discuss more in detail some of the topics on the agenda.
