The OECD Week 2018 (https://www.oecd.org/general/oecd-week.htm), the most important event of the OECD including the Forum and the Meeting of the OECD Council at Ministerial Level (MCM), will take place in Paris from 28 May to 1 June. On 29-30 May 2018, the Forum will bring together policy makers, representatives of business and civil society to exchange views on the overarching theme “What bring us together”. Around 80 sessions will be organized on the three cross-cutting themes: Inclusive Growth; Digitalisation; and, International Cooperation. The program is available at www.oecd.org/forum/programme/.
The MCM, which will take place on 30-31 May, is entitled “Reshaping the foundations of multilateralism for more responsible, effective and inclusive outcomes“. It will be chaired by France with Latvia and New Zealand as Vice Chairs. The MCM will provide an opportunity to examine how international cooperation can help countries better understand the root causes of economic instabilities, promote standards to level the playing field, confront excess capacity, address global environmental issues, increase security and trust in cyberspace, reap the benefits of digitalisation, and promote more integrity in financial flows and more responsible business conduct. The program, available at https://www.oecd.org/mcm/agenda/, will comprise both open and closed sessions.
