Ambassador Alessandro Busacca, met a delegation from the Academy of the Italian Guardia di Finanza led by Brigadier General Virgilio Pomponi, Commandant of the Officers training institute. The meeting which was attended by officials from the Delegation, the O.E.C.D. and the F.A.T.F., took place as part of the study visit in Paris of the second-year Cadets.
In his welcoming remarks the Ambassador outlined the key aspects and the significance for Italy to be part of the works developed by the International Organizations based in Paris. With particular regard to the O.E.C.D. and the F.A.T.F. the Ambassador stressed the role played by these two Organizations on matters that are core for the development of the economy such as the international taxation of MNEs, and the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
