Ambassador Busacca speaks at the IEA Energy Efficiency Training Week

Ambassador Busacca took part in the opening day of the Third Energy Efficiency in Emerging Economies Training Week organized by the International Energy Agency. After the initial remarks by the Executive Director Fatih Birol, the Permanent Representative presented to more than 130 participants experiences and best practices on successful domestic energy efficiency policy implementation in Italy and Italy’s current activities in helping to support sustainable energy development across Africa. The training initiative is aimed at bringing expertise and knowledge on energy efficiency to the “next generation” of policy makers in emerging economies and contributes to make the IEA a center of global relevance for energy efficiency.
