“The Permanent Representative to the International Organisations in Paris, Ambassador Luca Sabbatucci, met today with the Secretary General of the International Transport Forum Young Tae KIM. The purpose of the meeting was a general review of ITF activities.
The ITF International Transport Forum, organization of Part II hosted by the OECD, brings together 63 countries, was established in 2006 and provides a unique platform on a global scale to discuss transport policies in all modalities: air, land and sea, with the aim of supporting governments in designing their public policies through the exchange of expertise and best practices.
The ITF focuses its work on economic research, statistical data collection, and policy analysis on these main topics : decarbonisation of transport, digitalization, connectivity, universal access and security. Ambassador Sabbatucci and Secretary General Young Tae Kim discussed how to strengthen the cooperation between Italy and ITF with some innovative ideas and concrete proposal. “
