The Permanent Representation of Italy to the International Organisations celebrates the Italian Cuisine in the world week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Puglia and Sicily were the protagonists of the event organized by the Italian Representation at the International Organizations in Paris to celebrate the Italian Cuisine Week, now in its eighth edition.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">During the event organized by the Italian Representation, which took place in the prestigious Parisian headquarters of Monte dei Paschi Banque, the combination of the excellence of the Apulian wines of Cantine Cantele and the dishes of the Sicilian chef Valentina Laudonia, who leads the kitchen <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">of the Maison Sensi restaurant in Brussels, were offered.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The initiative carried out in Paris placed at the center the strong link that exists between culture and food and wine in our country.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The tasting was in fact led by the Apulian manager and writer Claudia Melissa Barbarito and had as its background the concert created by master violinist Francesco Del Prete.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The objective of the evening was to promote Italian food and wine culture in the world, giving broad prominence to the candidacy of &#8220;Italian cuisine between sustainability and biocultural diversity&#8221; as a UNESCO intangible heritage site, proposed last March by the Italian Government and approved by the Board of Directors<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">of the Italian National UNESCO Commission.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Paris, Ambassador Luca Sabbatucci, stated that &#8220;Italian cuisine is a true heritage for us, to be preserved and promoted, because it is a founding part of our cultural identity.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Our food and wine is true wealth, the result of a thousand-year history that looks to the future, ready to face new challenges, such as sustainability and respect for the planet&#8217;s resources, elements on which the Mediterranean diet has been based for centuries&#8221;.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Further reviews:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lagazzettadelmezzogiorno.it\/news\/tour-del-gusto\/1449785\/la-settimana-della-cucina-italiana-nel-mondo-a-parigi-puglia-e-sicilia-protagoniste.html\">https:\/\/www.lagazzettadelmezzogiorno.it\/news\/tour-del-gusto\/1449785\/la-settimana-della-cucina-italiana-nel-mondo-a-parigi-puglia-e-sicilia-protagoniste.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.italiani.it\/settimana-della-cucina-italiana-nel-mondo-la-puglia-protagonista-a-parigi-e-in-giappone\/\">https:\/\/www.italiani.it\/settimana-della-cucina-italiana-nel-mondo-la-puglia-protagonista-a-parigi-e-in-giappone\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Puglia and Sicily were the protagonists of the event organized by the Italian Representation at the International Organizations in Paris to celebrate the Italian Cuisine Week, now in its eighth edition.
