OECD AND PERMANENT REPRESENTATION PRESENT A VOLUME ON SOCIAL HOUSING IN ITALY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A volume on Social Housing in Italy was presented today in Paris.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The project, financed by the Permanent Representation of Italy to International Organizations, saw the collaboration of the Triennale di Milano and the ECO Directorate of the OECD.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The objective of social housing &#8211; or social construction &#8211; is to offer good quality housing to families with average incomes, who therefore do not have access to public housing nor have the opportunity to afford the purchase of properties at market prices.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Usually the offer of housing at controlled prices is accompanied by projects that promote the integration and personal development of residents.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Also for this reason, the volume presented at the headquarters of the Parisian Organization offers a double look at this phenomenon: one of a technical nature, the result of the contribution of OECD analysts, and one of a social, aesthetic nature, created thanks to the participation of the Triennale<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">from Milan.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Social rented housing constitutes around 6% of the total housing stock in the OECD area, and already represents an important dimension of social assistance policy and urban regeneration plans in several countries.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Italy has recently launched an investment plan in social housing thanks to PNRR (National Plan for Recovery and Resilience) funds, especially through partnerships with foundations and private entities.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The presentation opened with the speech of Ambassador Luca Sabbatucci, Italian Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Paris, who recalled how important it is for our country to spread and consolidate this model, with a view to reducing housing hardship,<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">particularly in the suburbs, and guarantee adequate living conditions for all citizens.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A volume on Social Housing in Italy was presented today in Paris.
