Italy at the IEA Governing Board

Paris, 16-17 March. The Director General for Global Issues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Massimo Gaiani, and the Permanent Representative, Alessandro Busacca, attended the 253rd meeting of the Governing Board of the International Energy Agency. The Italian delegation actively contributed to the discussion on the preparation of the 2017 Ministerial, the future of the Agency and the development of its outreach and work on energy security and transition. The meeting was opened by a joint session with the Energy Business Council, including ENEL and ENI, on the importance of an enhanced dialogue between the public and private sector.
