MEETING WITH THE COMMISSIONER OF THE ITALIAN SPACE AGENCY

On 15 January the Permanent Representation hosted the second meeting with Italian officials in service at the ESA (European Space Agency). The initiative was attended by the new Special Commissioner of the Italian Space Agency, Prof. Piero Benvenuti, who illustrated the progress of the collaboration programs between ASI and ESA and reported the prospects of reform in discussion of the spatial policies of the European Union; Mr. Giovanni Cinque, Special Subcommissioner of the ASI; Captain Francesco Pagnotta, who brought a message from Admiral Carlo Massagli, Military Adviser to the Prime Minister. The talks were followed by a debate and a reception.
